Affiliate Program

In 2011, Council for Life celebrated its 10th Anniversary by establishing an Affiliate Program. We sensed the Lord's call to expand our mission to celebrate Life beyond our Dallas borders. In 2001, our Founders chose the following verse to guide them, and when we began to dream and consider adding Affiliates, Founder Emeritus Ann Carruth was reminded of this powerful verse:

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not
hold back; lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the
left, your descendents will
dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities." - Isaiah 54:2,3

Note: These "desolate cities" of the Moabites and Ammonites had practiced child sacrifice. This was a great affirmation from the Lord to launch an Affiliate Program!

Having Council for Life Affiliates established across the country will allow us to:

• unite life-affirming groups which concentrate on education and funding and also provide compassion and love to those who have chosen abortion;
• expand our borders for a common mission, vision, purpose, voice, presence and brand for LIFE which has been successful in a major market – tried and tested;
• provide opportunities to spread the Gospel through new Affiliates;
• provide critical funding for Pro Life agencies in other markets;
• provide opportunities to connect and unite city and community leaders in a winsome way who may be Believers but do not understand or embrace the Sanctity of Life;
• provide a counterpart to Planned Parenthood;
• provide opportunities to include men, juniors and youth in a Pro Life movement;
• provide opportunities to host different types of events for men, women, juniors and youth that promote LIFE;
• provide opportunities to showcase Pro Life Speakers who have powerful messages that need to be heard;
• provide opportunities to "invade" the culture of different neighborhoods, communities and even the city at large who may have become immune to the Gospel and the Sanctity of Life; and
• provide encouragement, hands and feet support for Pro Life agencies who are on the front line.
