Since its beginning, the Council for Life (CFL) has been committed to raising significant funds for non-profit agencies who share our mission of honoring the sanctity of life. To date, CFL has raised in excess of $2.7 million. The 2011 Beneficiaries have been carefully selected. Each of these beneficiaries is committed to serving daily in implementing our mission of empowering women, men, and youth to make life-affirming choices and to raising the public awareness of this complex issue. The CFL is grateful for the faith-based, compassionate services these agencies provide and their passionate commitment to the sanctity of life.
Chosen Child Adoption Services | chosenchildtx.org
The mission of Chosen Child Adoption Services is to place children into Christ-centered homes. The funds would go towards hiring an External Relations Liaison and launching an advertising campaign to increase awareness of CCAS.
Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center | dallaspregnancyresource.com
Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center (DPRC) is a life-affirming evangelical ministry that works with women in unplanned pregnancies. Since 1983, the staff and volunteers have come alongside clients to offer educational information and spiritual, emotional and material assistance. Funds will be used to support the medical clinics of all three locations: Jupiter Road, Greenville Avenue and West Dallas.

Fort Worth Pregnancy Center began in 1996 to encourage, through education, the recognition of human life from the moment of conception and to minister the name of Christ to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy. Funds will be used for a part-time receptionist.

Just Say Yes is a Dallas-based educational organization committed to teaching abstinence through churches, schools and youth organization. Funds will be used to support the life-affirming message of Just Say Yes by expanding and multiplying the proven parent program, Simple Truths with Mary Flo Ridley, to at-risk and under-served communities.

LifeTalk is a Christ-centered resource center founded in 2008 in Frisco. The center offers free pregnancy testing and educational classes in abstinence, STDs and post-abortion. Funds will be used for the salaries for a nurse sonographer, Executive Director and staff member.

Mid Cities Pregnancy Center provides faith-based services for abortion alternatives, pregnancy testing, ultrasound technology and lay counseling. Funds will be used to produce 5 truthful, modern, life-affirming videos as well as accompanying brochures to offer clients and share with other Pregnancy Resource Centers.
Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship | Family Care Pregnancy Center
The Family Care Pregnancy Center offers free pregnancy testing, information on fetal development, crisis counseling by lay individuals, ultrasounds, sexually transmitted disease information and a host of other services to help women cope with the challenges of unplanned pregnancies. Funds will be used for staffing, a new sonogram machine, educational curriculum, community outreach, and public awareness education.

The Perinatal Support of Texas’s mission is to provide support to families whose unborn baby has been given a fatal diagnosis. The funds will be used to reach out to obstetricians in Dallas in order to educate them of how to support families with this fatal diagnosis.

Real Options for Women is a source of information to women making decisions about their unplanned pregnancies, a gateway for medical care for those choosing to carry to term and a provider of STD screening and sexual integrity education to students and parents. Funds will be used for the salary of a staff member to act as a liaison between Real Options and the Collin College campus.

The Rockwall and Mesquite Pregnancy Resource Center was established in 2000 to offer free and confidential pregnancy tests, counseling, STD information, sonograms and educational classes. The funds would provide an Ultrasound machine for the Mesquite location.

Angels Clinic opened in May of 2008 dedicated to nurturing the mind, body and spirit of women with unplanned pregnancies by providing free prenatal care as well as psychosocial support in a nonjudgmental environment. All physicians staffing the clinic volunteer their time and services. Funds will go towards salaries for a full time front desk and clinic supervisor, part time medical assistant, part time social services coordinator and part time clinic director.

The Catholic Pro-Life Committee is to educate, organize and mobilize Catholics in the Diocese of Dallas on life-affirming issues. The funds will be used to support the Abortion AfterCare-Healing Ministry which offers abortion recovery retreats, support groups and professional counseling.

Founded in 1991 to service the East Lancaster avenue area, this pregnancy center exists to provide care in a safe, confidential environment for women who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Funds will be used for a part-time RN to perform sonograms and provide counseling.

Since 1992, Prestonwood Pregnancy Center has provided guidance, education and medical services to women and families experiencing unplanned pregnancies in north central Texas. Funds will support the Community Mobile Sonogram Program offering free pregnancy tests, sonograms, guidance and referral services conveniently aboard a 31 foot RV branded unit.
